The Championships Competitions

During The Star Championships there's an opportunity for more than just the horses to prove their worth with the prestigious Nathan Berry Medal being awarded to the leading jockey.

The Medal is a 'best and fairest' over the two Saturdays of  The Star Championships at Royal Randwick and rewards the top jockey via a 3-2-1 point score.

Nash Rawiller took out the Medal last year with 10 points beating Brenton Avdulla (7 pts). Nash put on a masterclass to win the Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes with a breaktaking ride on Think It Over.
