It’ll be fascinating to see where this mare fits into the picture over the Sydney autumn and then onto The Championships in early April. She was no match for Hartnell in the Turnbull Stakes but after that relished the 2400m to belt her rivals in the Caulfield Cup. Whether she failed to stay the two miles in the Melbourne Cup or simply wasn’t yet seasoned enough remains to be seen.
Ciaron Maher has stated that the four-year-old will only have a light autumn but it’ll still make for interesting viewing when she steps out again.
